ESIC is a series of seminars on Environmental Sustainability and International Cooperation, promoted by the UNESCO Chair in Engineering for Human and Sustainable Development of the University of Trento. This event explores the connections between climate change, water governance, and environmental justice in Latin America. Through case studies from Bolivia and Brazil, the presentations highlight the role of citizen participation, youth engagement, public policy, and community-based resource management in addressing water-related challenges. The discussion focuses on how scientific research, local knowledge, and inclusive governance approaches can support climate adaptation, strengthen resilience, and promote sustainable and equitable management of water resources in vulnerable territories.
