The Yakuza (1974) Review
The Yakuza (1974) Director: Sydney Pollack Rent/Buy: Prime Video, YouTube 👍🏻👍🏻 A private investigator goes to Japan to help an old friend find his daughter after a business dispute with a Japanese gangster. Robert Mitchum is excellent in this,his performance has a gravity to it that is palpable, the story itself is one of respect and honor and sacrifice and his performance just enhances those themes. I enjoyed the action in the final act as well. This is well worth a watch.
