Slīteres Nacionālais parks – MEŽI UZ SENO JŪRU VEIDOJUMIEM

In the north-west of Latvia, at the very northern tip of Kurzeme Region, is the smallest of Latvia's four National Parks – Slītere National Park. It was created from one of the first protected natural areas in Latvia – from Šlīteres nature monument, founded in 1923. This national park is also called – an open–air museum of geological history of the Baltic Sea.
