ABC-TV COVERAGE OF JFK'S ASSASSINATION ON NOVEMBER 22, 1963

[NOTE --- Previously uploaded on this channel as a 2-part series.] This ABC-TV video footage from 11/22/63 is in very rough shape, but it's still better than having nothing at all. This ABC coverage seems quite primitive and antiquated by today's standards, and at times it almost appears as if the newsmen are reporting from somebody's shabby-looking basement. But it must also be noted that ABC, in 1963, was definitely the "number three" television network among the trio of TV networks that existed at that time. As a footnote to this ABC material, I received the following message from Ed Silverman in 2013: "I am Ed Silverman, heard doing the first video-taped bulletin. However, what you are hearing is actually the fourth bulletin I did. Due to the confusion and the primitive state of VTR technology, the tech staff did not begin rolling until the fourth bulletin. I can attest that there is no earlier video than what you see and hear. Hope that clears up the confusion." -- Ed Silverman; June 22, 2013
