Uganda Expedition: Part 2 - Unforgettable Chimpanzee Trekking Experience

Join us as we trek with Chimpanzees in Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park is a rainforest located in Uganda that plays host to 13 different primates. We stayed at Primate Lodge, the only lodge located within the national park borders. Straight from your room you'll see monkeys jumping around the trees, you'll hear chimpanzees in the distance, and if you're lucky enough Chimpanzees may even walk through the lodge. During your trek with the Chimpanzees you can expect a variety of experiences. Long hikes, short hikes, staying in one spot, moving a lot; but one thing we heard from most people was that each family usually had at least one or two members that liked to play it up for the cameras. We specifically had one that posed itself on a log and played with a leaf, you could tell he was not camera shy at all.
