In this discussion, entitled “The Teaching Profession and the School of the Future: Conversations from the Current Scenario,” we propose, based on the contributions of three leading specialists in the field of pedagogy, to reflect on the question of teaching, addressing questions that help us think about the school and the teaching profession. We intend to do so from the perspective of the current situation, imagining the return to classrooms and school buildings. What happened during this interruption to the daily routine of school life? What new challenges arose with the pandemic? What aspects of the teaching profession did we maintain? What did we have to renew? Will this be an opportunity to reinvent the school? This activity is organized by the Higher Institute of Pedagogical Studies, in conjunction with the General Directorate of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of the Province of Córdoba.
