Thank you from the bottom of my heart💗🌺 🍃Zebra Plant🍃 (Aphelandra squarrosa) @VerónicaCampaniniPlantas It's a very beautiful indoor plant, characterized by its leaves and, when it blooms, by a beautiful yellow flower.👩🏼‍🌾 In this video, I'll show you how to care for it. ✅Alphelandra or Zebra Plant, its scientific name is Aphelandra squarrosa (commonly known by the ambiguous name "zebra plant"), is a plant of the Acanthaceae family, native to Brazil. This is a plant commonly used as a houseplant. This plant is listed in the Flora Brasileira. ✅This plant requires plenty of light, but not direct sunlight. It doesn't flower often, but can be encouraged to bloom by prolonged exposure to light every day. Overwatering or underwatering will cause the lower leaves to turn brown and fall off. It requires frequent, small waterings to maintain soil moisture. The plant flowers when the temperature is between 18 and 21°C (65-70°F) and will suffer if the temperature drops below 15°C (60°F) for an extended period. ✅It reaches an average height of 60 centimeters when mature. ✅It is propagated through cuttings, which can be obtained by taking a couple of inches of stem from a branch tip and using rooting hormone to encourage root growth. The ideal temperature is around 21°C (70°F) and fairly high humidity improves the chances of successfully propagating cuttings.
