Police Drugs Tested and Alcohol Breathalyser - Do You Know How They Work?

I Was Drug Tested and Breathalyzed — Here's What Happened! I attended Cheshire Police and was issued a drugs test and a alcohol test to see how the police use them, what they search for and how danger driving under the influence of drink and drugs is. Its an easy test and the results are amazing and detailed. Important Information Cannabis: Cannabis is typically detectable for 12 to 24 hours for occasional users, but this window extends to 1 to 7 days for frequent users, and up to 14 to 30 days for chronic, heavy users. Because the UK legal limit for drug driving is set at an exceptionally low, near-zero tolerance threshold of 2 micrograms per litre blood, even minute trace amounts remobilising in your system can trigger a positive evidential result long after the psychoactive effects have worn off. Cocaine: Cocaine is typically detectable for 8 to 12 hours, but its primary metabolite (benzoylecgonine) can be detected for 24 to 48 hours for occasional users, and up to 4 to 7 days for chronic, heavy users. Because the UK legal limits for drug driving differentiate strictly between the active drug and its breakdown product, motorists are frequently caught by the exceptionally low limit of 10 micrograms per litre (μg/L) for cocaine, and a specific limit of 500 micrograms per litre (μg/L) for its long-lasting metabolite. With Urine samples, heavy drug usage can show up to a 2-3 weeks after usage. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe and follow me on Patreon to watch my BRAND NEW podcast!
