Rafael makes telephone call to Adelaida's flat and talk to Mercedes. Mercedes doesn't want him to come. Exhumation is over and there is only little left, what Mercedes should assist Manuela with. When the call is over, Manuela asks Mercedes, why she gives Rafael false hope. Manuela thinks, that it would be more correct, when Mercedes reunite with Art or at least stop the "so called" relationship with Art. Father José talks with Rafael and more they talk, father José is more convinced to travel to Buenos Aires and help Manuela and Mercedes.
