Aici s-a scris istoria României? 🏛️ | Vila Bosianu

Today we visited Vila Bosianu, one of the most fascinating historical buildings in Bucharest, a place full of mystery, elegance and stories related to the Union of the Romanian Principalities. Built in the 19th century by Constantin Bosianu, an important politician and supporter of the union of Moldavia with Wallachia, the villa impresses with its neo-Gothic style and the atmosphere of a medieval castle. It is said that Alexandru Ioan Cuza was hidden here before the historic moment of January 24, 1859, when he was elected ruler of both principalities, thus achieving the Union of the Romanian Principalities — the first important step towards the formation of modern Romania 🇷🇴. During that period, the villa was strictly guarded, and political meetings took place in great secrecy. In this video we discover the fascinating history of the villa, impressive architectural details and the connection of this place with one of the most important moments in Romanian history.
