COBALAM: Protecting ecosystems, building community resilience

They are farmers, nurserymen and women, community leaders, and women's agricultural groups. Their stories reflect a shared reality: communities working to restore degraded lands, protect natural resources, and build more resilient livelihoods. Through their testimonies, discover how the COBALAM project is turning environmental challenges into tangible opportunities for communities across the Dja and Western Highlands landscapes of Cameroon. Funded by the Global Environment Facility through the United Nations Environment Programme, led by the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development, and implemented by Rainforest Alliance, the project is helping communities restore ecosystems while creating new pathways for sustainable development and economic resilience.
