Welcome to the First Avioraduno Aero Club d'Italia - Welcome to Castiglione del Lago! And here we are with the first of several videos dedicated to this I would call HISTORIC event. The First Aero Club of Italy Airshow took place in mid-June at the historic Eleutieri Airport in Castiglione del Lago. A unique location, in the heart of Italy, a magnificent setting, a place that has evoked a passion for flying for decades. And so I chose to begin the first video directly aboard the brand new Rotax 916-powered Lamanna Escape with Captain Mauro Antogiovanni during his display. What better aircraft could there be with one of Italy's best rotary-wing pilots aboard to enjoy a spectacular view of the aprons, the 800-meter runway, Lake Trasimeno, and the overall view of Eleutieri from the Display Line? I felt it was only right to begin with a bird's-eye view of this splendid airfield and all the airplanes that landed for this occasion. The entire world of flight is finally in one place... General Aviation, Rotary Wings, Ultralights, Seaplanes, Paramotors, Historic Aircraft, Aerobatic Planes, Gliders, Civil Patrols...
