On March 16, 2018 the ski lift at Gudauri Ski Resort experienced a terrifying accident. There was a malfunction resulting in a rollback on Mount Sadzele. The chairlift began moving backwards and was soon sending skiers flying through the air as it ran backwards at double speed. Investigation into the malfunctioning ski lift reported that the two operators failed to execute emergency procedure, but is there more than meets the eye?
