This week, gunshots were fired during a brawl involving students just outside campus on Monday after school. No one was injured and no arrests were made, according to San Pablo Police Department public information officer Peggy Chou. In other news, an employee is being investigated for alleged inappropriate behavior with a student. The allegations were brought to light when the employee was attacked after a basketball game on Dec. 12, 2023 . The employee has been put on administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing, according to a communitywide email sent out by school administration. In school events, we captured the Holiday Rally just before the break. We also asked people if they support Starbucks despite it being boycotted for its support of Israel in its war against Palestine. We also went around and asked students and staff what presents they got over the holidays, and sock checked them while we were at it.
