Sermon Text: Exodus 33:7-11 7. Moses always took the tabernacle and pitched it outside the camp, far away from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of Meeting. Everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tabernacle outside the camp. 8. Whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, all the people would rise and stand at the door of their tents, watching Moses until he had entered the tabernacle. 9. Whenever Moses entered the tabernacle, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance to the tabernacle, and the Lord would speak with Moses. 10. When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tabernacle, all the people would rise and stand at the entrance to their tents, worshiping. 11. The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Moses would return to the camp, but his young servant Joshua, the son of Nun, would not leave the tabernacle.
