Airplane Maintenance for Pilots Part II-Replacing Spark Plugs, Landing Gear Tires and Inner Tubes
Pilots can perform preventive maintenance on their airplanes. In this episode, as a certificated pilot working on my airplane, I will show you how to change the spark plugs and replace the landing gear tires and inner tubes. According to 14 CFR Part 43, the holder of a pilot certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 61 may perform specified preventive maintenance on aircraft owned by the pilot, as long as the aircraft is not used under 14 CFR Part 121, 127, 129, or 135 #airplane #airport #aviation #flying #flight #maintenance #pilot #sparkplugs #tires #salinas #salinasairport #landinggear #airplanejacks
