Love uphill trail running with these 4 techniques.

In this video I describe the 4 techniques I use most often when trail running uphill in the mountains. In this video, I share four essential techniques to improve your uphill running. First is “Baby Steps,” where I shorten my stride to maintain power and stability on inclines. Next is the “March,” a deliberate hiking technique with an elongated stride that helps me maintain pace while reducing strain. The “Knee Push” involves leaning forward and pushing on my knees for extra power when the hill gets really steep. Lastly, the “Scramble” is for extremely steep terrain, where I use my hands and feet to ascend. I encourage you to try these techniques on your next run and adjust them based on the terrain.
