🚆 Cab ride through the Gotthard Base Tunnel UNCUT! Part 1 (Bellinzona - Basel)

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ! This video starts on an early winter morning and therefore, we set off in darkness. If you want to skip to the Gotthard Base Tunnel, go to 19:40. Information about the Gotthard Base Tunnel will be displayed upon entry into the tunnel. The ride through the tunnel is UNCUT! Since our maximum speed is 100km/h (62mph), it takes quite some time to pass the total of 57 kilometers (35mi). Skip to 01:01:20 to see the sunlight and enjoy the beautiful cabride through the heart of Switzerland, along Lake Lucerne and Lake Lauerz up to Arth-Goldau. The rest of the trip to Basel will be featured in the second part. A lot of you have been asking for this and here we are - riding through the majestic Gotthard Base Tunnel! An absolutely fascinating piece of engineering and nothing less than the longest tunnel in the world. We start off in Bellinzona on a SBB Cargo International freight train, which came from Gallarate and we're heading towards Basel SBB RB. You will see information about the train as soon as we leave Bellinzona into the cold morning. The second part will be on this channel very soon!
