The House of the Dead 2 Remake is Awful

Sega's 1998 classic 'The House of the Dead 2' has gone on to become a fan-favourite light gun shooter thanks to its wicked-cool combination of stand-out gameplay, visuals, and audio, so when a remake was announced in 2019, I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, this remake didn't turn out so well, with our goal being to learn about why this is the case. We'll be diving into the remake's background, gameplay, audio-visual suite, and numerous technical issues to understand why seemingly nobody likes it.
