2021 TRAINING PROGRAM: TOPIC 4 "HOW TO INTERPRET SOIL ANALYSIS PART 1" PRESENTED BY DR. PROMETEO SÁNCHEZ GARCÍA: PhD in Agricultural Sciences, Russian University, Moscow. Professor of Plant Nutrition, Postgraduate College of Agricultural Sciences of Mexico. Research Areas: Crop Nutrition, Nutritional Diagnosis, Fertigation, Hydroponics, and Substrates. Dr. Prometeo Sánchez García obtained his PhD in Agriculture from the Russian University in the Russian Federation in 1992. He has been a Full Professor and Researcher at the Postgraduate College since 1993, and his work is related to plant nutrition. He was Secretary of the Mexican Society of Soil Science and is currently President of the Mexican Society of Plant Nutrition. He has served as an advisor and consultant to 130 students. He holds bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. He is the author and co-author of 110 articles in national and international journals, as well as 6 manuals and books. He has taught more than 350 courses and workshops on various topics in plant nutrition to technicians and producers in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, and Argentina. He has participated in the organization of 3 international and 6 national conferences. He is a member of the National System of Researchers. He has led and collaborated on 15 projects funded by national and international organizations. He advises and consults for national and international companies on soil, water, and nutrient management for fruit and vegetable crops.
