Brampton Transit D40LF 0834 Charter

In September of 2024, a group of transit enthusiasts chartered Brampton Transit 0834, a New Flyer D40LF from 2009 for a ride around the Brampton Transit service area, visiting several locations for photos as well as Sandalwood Garage. Attendees were even able to see a brand new Züm XD60 posed with the charter bus. 0834 began life in November 2009 as London Transit Commission 147, and it was retired from the LTC fleet in September 2022. Purchased by Brampton Transit in response to strong ridership growth and long bus manufacturing lead times, 0834 entered service in Brampton in May 2024 just four months before this charter.
