In the 19th century, landowners' estates were created in the villages of the Oryol province. The landscape art of those times reached a high level of development. Ancient parks with their centuries-old linden alleys, cascades of ponds, and graceful gazebos have not lost their appeal to this day. The Novosiltsev estate is located in the village of Pervy Voin, Mtsensk district, on the right bank of the Voinka River. The last owner of the estate was landowner Novosiltseva. Her family belongs to the old boyar, then noble family of Novosiltsev. The founder of this branch was Pyotr Ivanovich Novosiltsev, a native of the Oryol bourgeoisie. He began his service as a clerk and rose to the position of state councilor and St. Petersburg vice-governor. And being in this rank, he received hereditary nobility. There is information that N.M. Karamzin, I.S. Turgenev, A.A. Fet, L.N. Tolstoy and many others visited the Novosiltsevs at the estate. In Soviet times, a tuberculosis sanatorium was located on the estate's territory. The property was abandoned in the early 2000s. The estate complex includes: the main house, outbuildings, an old house, a new building (1958), and the ruins of a gazebo. All the buildings are in disrepair. They are under the supervision of one local resident. But in fact, the estate is abandoned, it is being smashed and construction materials are being taken away by trucks. There have been many films about the abandoned estate, many of them mystical.
