$2.7B LA Convention Center Expansion Renovation Drone Update

Exhibit Halls 193,000 sf of exhibit space will be built over Pico Blvd to bridge the gap between the West and South Halls. Once complete, the Center will feature over 900,000 sf of total exhibit space, of which 750,000 sf will be contiguous exhibit space on Level 1. Meeting Rooms LACC’s breakout space will increase by 38,000 sf, bringing the total Meeting Room space to over 140,000sf Multi-Purpose Space The new Multi-Purpose Space (MPS) will showcase 98,000 sf of flexible space which can be easily divided into various configurations. The MPS will incorporate pre-function space as well as a roof terrace. Pico Blvd between S Figueroa St. and LA Live Way will be fully closed 24/7 from 2026 through March 31, 2028 as part of the LACC Expansion & Modernization Project.
