3 Minimalist Tips Nobody Talks About
Most people think minimalist long exposure photography starts with an ND filter, a tripod, and a beautiful location. But after years of photographing coastlines, lakes, and quiet landscapes, I've realised that's not where the image begins. The real challenge isn't finding something beautiful to photograph, it's learning what to leave out. The best minimalist images aren't created by adding interesting elements. They're created by removing distractions until only the essential remains. And that's a way of seeing that completely changed my photography. So in this video, I want to share three of the most valuable lessons I've learned about minimalist long exposure photography. If you've ever come home from a location with technically good long exposures that still felt... ordinary, I think these tips might change the way you see your next landscape. Let's get into it." 📷 Subscribe for more photography adventures 👍 Like if you enjoyed this journey 💬 Comment your favourite scene or share your own experience! 📸 INSTAGRAM : / julien_carcano Website: https://www.juliencarcano.com/fine-art Workshop page: https://www.juliencarcano.com/workshops ---------------------------------------- FREEWELL Tripod 5 in 1: ---------------------------------------- To benefit of the 10% discount put the code : JULIEN10 at your checkout. https://freewellgear.com/products/cam... ---------------------------------------- What's in my camera bag: ---------------------------------------- 📷 Camera : Sony A7RV 61mp Full frame ○ Lenses: Sony G Master lenses - 24-70mm / 70-200mm / 50mm / 100-400mm ○ Wide angle lense: Viltrox - 16mm ✈️ Drone: DJI mini 4 Pro 🎥 DJI Osmo pocket 3 creator combo △ Tripod: Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 Carbon Fibre Tripod with Benro Geared 3 way head ► Tripod: Freewell 5 in 1 tripod carbon fiber ◐ Filters: freewell Filters circular magnetic filters 🎒Backpack: F_STOP Kashmir UL 30L (Ultralight) 🎵 Music soundtracks and sound effect by https://uppbeat.io 🎵 Sound effect by https://ocularsounds.com/en-gb/produc... ---------------------------------------- #longexposurephotography #photographytips #architecturephotography #minimalistphotography #travelphotography #ndfilter #PhotoWorkshop #landscapephotography #finland #lapland #winterphotography #photographytips #masterclass #photographymasterclass #minimalist #minimalistmasterclass #minimalistlongexposurephotography #fineartphotography #photographytips #workshop #photographyworkshop #slowshutterphotography #behindtheshooting #photowalk #howtophotography #learnphotography #phototips #youtubephotography #minimalistvibes #fineartphotography #PhotographingStillness #outdoorphotography #howtoshootfog #photographyvlog #visualstorytelling #photocomposition #Louvre #louvremuseum #photographyinspiration #sunrise #sunset #PhotoPlanning #norway #lofoten #winter #snow #seaside
