Building the Main Menu for Stylus Theft (Godot Devlog)
Welcome back to the Spaghetti Code Arcade. In this devlog, I’m jumping into Godot to work on the main menu for my drawing app, Stylus Theft. UI layout in Godot can be a bit of a nightmare when you're just starting out. After wrestling with it for a bit trying to figure out how to add some basic spacing between the menu buttons, I hit a wall and called it a wrap. The goal here is consistency, though—forcing myself to post regularly so I actually cross the finish line on this project. If you've ever been defeated by UI containers, drop a comment so I know I'm not the only one!
