Men in Exile – Live at Megaron - Athens Concert Hall "Sirtó Fereís & Neratzolémono" (16th of Αpril 2026) (English below) Στις 16 Aπρίλη 2026, οι Men in Exile εμφανίστηκαν στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής των Αθηνών, σε μια ζεστή και πλήρως αυτοσχεδιαστική ζωντανή εμφάνιση. Στο βίντεο αυτό παρουσιάζουμε την αυτοσχεδιαστική εκδοχή μας στον σκοπό του “Φερεή” από την Χίο και το "Νερατζολέμονο" από την δισκογραφία του Χρόνη Αηδονίδη. Μαζί, εξερευνούμε τα όρια του ελληνικού αυτοσχεδιαστικού ιδιώματος μέσα από τη λογική των jazz standards, ανακαλύπτοντας ξανά μοτίβα της υπαίθρου, "λυγίζοντας" τον χρόνο μέσα από ρυθμικό διάλογο και αφήνοντας το παραδοσιακό υλικό να ξετυλιχτεί. In this video, we present our interpretation of «Sirto Fereís» from Chios Island, and «Neratzolémono» inspired by the discography of the great singer Chronis Aidonides. Together, we explore the Greek improvisational idiom through the logic of jazz standards, rediscovering motifs from the Greek countryside, bending time through rhythmic dialogue, and allowing the traditional material to unfold organically. The Men in Exile are Panos Skouteris on the clarinet, Thodoris Ziarkas on the double bass & Manousos Klapakis on the percussion.
