Country singer James Johnston reflections of Tour d'Horse 2026

We are thrilled to officially welcome one of Australia's leading country music artists and Golden Guitar-winning performer, James Johnston, as a KIDS Foundation Ambassador. After spending time with the children and families the Foundation supports, alongside riders and volunteers on Tour d'Horse, James experienced firsthand the incredible spirit and resilience that makes our KIDS community so special. "The strength of these kids is what I'll take away. There is a light that shines through every single one of them." James and his family fully immersed themselves in the event, connecting with children, families, riders and volunteers with generosity, heart and plenty of smiles. From riding horses and sharing stories to inspiring plenty of line dancing and laughter around camp, James embraced every opportunity to connect. He also helped bring a song called Kids to life, with children and young people supported by the Foundation helping shape the lyrics and message. The song brought their stories, experiences and hopes to life through music. We can't wait to swap the campfire for the recording studio and share it with the world! Thank you, James, for embracing our KIDS family with such genuine care. We are honoured to have you alongside us as we continue creating better lives for children and families affected by trauma and disabling health conditions. Welcome to the KIDS family And good luck with the world tour. We'll be cheering you on from home!
