A Guide to: Upper Nidderdale, Yorkshire Dales

From the two reservoirs, Angram and Scar House at the head of Nidderdale, we travel down to the market town of the dale: Pateley Bridge. We visit Middlesmoor, How Stean Gorge, Lofthouse, Ramsgill, Wath and the old Prosperous Lead Mine at Heathfield. We end at The Coldstones Cut - a giant sculpture that overlooks the last working quarry in the dale.
