🤢ABUSED by a Jeweler! Rolex DateJust RESCUED and RESTORED.

This 1985 Rolex DateJust (reference 16014) is in dire need of repairs. Inside the watch is the 3035 caliber 27 jewel movement, which features automatic winding and a date complication. The watch has much sentimental value to its owner, who sent it in for repairs. To be honest, it was in awful condition and I had my doubts whether it would ever be a good timekeeper again. Those expectations further declined when I opened the case back. Observe as I meticulously repair this movement and restore it to working order. I also give the case and bracelet a little love.
