1969 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1 – Wyoming Field Find Fully Restored!

In Episode 166 of Cars, Shops & Collections we visit John to see his fully restored 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that he found rotting in a Wyoming field! We first met John a few months ago while filming Episode 146, John gave us the brief backstory on his Mustang and we knew we had to meet up for a full episode! John discovered this 1969 Mach 1 while on a hunting trip in Wyoming back in 2006. John was talking to the owner of the property about getting permission to hunt his land, that’s when he noticed this legendary ride rotting in the field. Not only did John score some big game that weekend but he also scored one legendary Pony! John and his family spent years rebuilding his Mustang back to it’s former glory. We loved filming this episode and getting all of the details of this restoration… As you will see ,it was a family affair. Stick around to the end for a great ride along as well. The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was introduced as a high-performance variant of the Mustang, instantly recognizable with its aggressive styling, including a blacked-out hood, hood scoop, and bold side stripes. It came standard with a 351 cubic inch V8 engine, but you did have the option to upgrade to the legendary 428 Cobra Jet for jaw-dropping power. The Mach 1 was designed to blend speed, style, and muscle, becoming a symbol of American performance and one of the most sought-after Mustangs ever produced.
