This is an ancient Hindu temple complex. The ruins of old temples and statues could easily be found. The Shiv Lingas and other statues of different dieties are kept in open. The most significant and wonderful piece of attraction here is a Giant Trident (Trishool) which is made of rustproof iron.it is said the Trident was of ancient sage Parashuram, who meditated here for a long time. Parshu is called Tangi in local language. It is believed that the same is made by the Primitive tribe, Asurs. Similar metal could also be seen in the Iron pillar of Mehrauli. The place is a highly revered amongst the believers. Mahashivratri, month of Savan and Kartik purnima are the days when most of the pilgrims visit here. The temple complex gives us an impression of the affluences, technical advancement and rich culture of the period. it is believed that the temples are made in different time periods but perhaps was started in 4th to 5th century.
