WHY IS MY DOG BALD? Coco the English Bulldog has flank alopecia, due to shorter daylight hours in the autumn/winter. She is learning how to take her inside training outside and I'm really proud of her. Coco HATES wearing clothing, we are actively working to change this but she is an odd shape and dislikes coats that cover her bum or get caught in the wind! I've started supplementing Omega-3s Coco has flank alopecia, from waning daylight hours. Flank alopecia can be permanent but it is non inflammatory and doesn’t bother the dogs that have it.
