Masjid e Quba (مَسْجِد قُبَاء) is the first mosque in the world established by the Hold Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself. It is located in Medina, in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia, and was established on the first day of the prophet (PBUH)'s arrival in Medina. Its first stone is said to have been laid by the prophet (PBUH) himself, and the structure completed by his companions. The mosque is one of the most sacred prayer places in Islam.
