Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has ignited fresh anti-government fervor in Nigeria’s capital. Just hours after returning from a trip to China, VDM and his loyal “Ratel” supporters took to the streets of Abuja in a vibrant nighttime demonstration, chanting slogans demanding the ouster of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu. A video circulating widely on X captures the energetic scene. Crowds of mostly young Nigerians, many waving the green-white-green national flag, march through the streets under the cover of night.
