A few words about this video and my current approach to freestyle. After pact12, my approach to training changed: I decided to focus on improving my quality of life and the life of my family, building a business, and making money. For the last five years, I haven't had a consistent training regimen. Sometimes I'd train twice a week, sometimes once every 2 months.In this sport, you need to be 100 percent focused and train consistently for many years to achieve the best progress, but now, at 30, that's simply unrealistic for me. There are a lot of other things going on, injuries, lack of motivation, long recovery times, but the main question is: does freestyle bring me enjoyment and why do I want it? It's always very difficult to get in shape, regain my level, and repeat combinations I did 5-10 years ago. Almost every training session is a battle to get footage for a video. It feels like I'm going through this journey twice. However, I have been freestyling for 16 years now and I can’t just throw this part of me out of my life.
