Soon enough Robbie and Caillou are having a great time playing together and find their own way to communicate. Caillou can't wit for the mailman to deliver his invitation to his friend Xavier's party. When it arrives with a picture of a pinata on it, Mom explains it's a kind of game with a surprise inside. Caillou wants to know what the surprise is, but tells him it will be much more fun to find out at the party and boy, is she right. Caillou learns about keeping promises.
