A problem that continues to grow and there seems to be no end in sight. Monica and I moved here in 2017 and since then, the population of the unhoused has grown from just around 5,000 to close to 10,000. When we first moved here, we were thrilled. We thought this would be the perfect place to raise a family. But times have changed. The crime rate has increased and so has the homelessness crisis.
