Boyd Street
Boyd Street recounts the 2020 Toy District Fire that injured eleven Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD) members. This documentary tells the story of the day of the incident, and the recovery period and departmental self-assessment that followed. Boyd Street was produced by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the LAFD, and Full Vision Productions. The NFFF thanks the LAFD members who shared their experiences with openness, honesty, and authenticity. Their willingness to talk about this incident will help other firefighters.
