A busy afternoon at Assen on a set of Nankang CR-S tyres that were well past their best and showed it by the end of the session. Outer shoulder wear from insufficient camber all round has been a persistent issue, and this session was no different. Heavy traffic kept clean laps scarce, so the times are nowhere near where they should be on a fresh set with little interference. Geometry changes are planned: more camber front and rear, less toe-in, which should finally address the root cause of the wear pattern.
