SS Canberra, the Return, July 11, 1982
This is a heavily edited version of the original live ITV broadcast of the Canberra returning to Southampton on July 11, 1982 after a three month voyage in the South Atlantic. Canberra was a key element of the British Task Force sent to liberate the Falkland Islands from Argentine invasion. The edited version focuses on 3 Commando Brigade and 59 Independent Commando Squadron Royal Engineers.
