A fascinating tour to discover a centuries-old building: the Church of San Giorgio in Annone Brianza. A complex rich in history and authentic masterpieces of art. The protagonist of the new episode of Minidoc is the evocative Church of San Giorgio, a charming oratory that has always watched over the town of Annone. The first mention of the building dates back to the 11th century. Subsequently, various renovations, especially in the 15th century, gave the church its current appearance. But it is inside that the building reveals its most interesting features. The complex houses several remarkable works of art, such as the marvelous frescoes by the Master of the Sforza Altarpiece and the extraordinary Polyptych of the Passion, a magnificent work of the 16th-century Flemish school. Unique images and spectacular views captured by drone are the elements of this video, which will guide the viewer on a discovery of one of the most interesting churches in Brianza and the entire Lecco area.
