Structural Mechanics: Direct Stiffness Method III

Structural Mechanics (ME309 at Boston University) Lecture: Direct Stiffness Method III In this lecture, we reassembly the components/elements back into a structure. We calculate the master stiffness matrix, account for the kinematic boundary conditions, and solve for the unknown displacements and reaction forces when the structure is loaded. Note: The spring semester of 2020 was interrupted by COVID-19, moving most university courses online for the second half of the semester. This video is the sixth lecture from that online course.
