Among the new features includes the ability to render individual Regions as a series of consecutive new Audio Files, meaning each one is fully independent from a processing perspective. I’m going to apply that kind of processing to a Drum Loop, before adding Flex Editing to individual slices of the rendered file, rather than to the whole track. Finally, I’m going to show you Logic’s Selection-Based Processing options, which allow you to configure two lanes of Insert effects before Applying those to any selected Regions, replacing the original ‘dry’ version with the processed one instead. This is great if you want to add a little colour to a specific Region, rather than process an entire Track.
