THE BEST PRESENCE. Isaiah 43:2. Meditation for Monday, June 15, 2026. Pastor Eugene Massa This world is unpredictable. That is why James reminds us that we must not presume on tomorrow, but recognize our dependence on God. James 4:14-15 “You who do not know what will happen tomorrow… you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.’” We often rely on the presence of many people, and this is legitimate. However, when certain trials arise, even the best human will reaches its limits. The only presence capable of accompanying us at all times, protecting us, strengthening us, and leading us to the end is that of God. His presence is permanent because He does not change. His presence is effective because no situation can withstand Him. His presence is available because He allows Himself to be found by those who seek Him. Let us therefore appropriate this presence through a living relationship with the Lord, daily communion with Him, and constant trust in His grace. Then, in good times and bad, we will be able to move forward with confidence, knowing that God is with us for our present security and our eternal salvation.
