As a Cuban who now calls this beautiful land home, it was impossible not to be moved. Seeing the customs, the way of life, and the simplicity of those years took me straight back to my roots. It's incredible to see how similar our histories are and, at the same time, feel that pang of nostalgia when you notice how everything has changed with modernity. I teared up remembering what we were and what, in many ways, has been lost along the way.
