Taylor's Dieselheizung im Segelboot: Autark durch den Winter in Kroatien

In this episode, I'm installing a used Taylor's diesel heater on my Beneteau First 375 "Scirocco" in Croatia, so I can continue sailing during the winter instead of putting the boat into storage. Thanks to the monthly support of my community on Patreon, I was able to find this non-electric diesel heater at a good price on the Austrian used market after a long search, and now I'm finally installing it. With the Bura wind blowing and later a strong Jugo, I search for the best installation location, cut the through-hull fitting for the chimney, and build a wooden "donut" on the outside to ensure the chimney sits straight despite the sloping roof. Including curing time and a final test on camera, the entire installation takes three days – just in time for the start of the cold season in Croatia, where over 90% of boats are already ashore.
