I Found Allocated Bourbon at MSRP in Vermont

Brewzle Whiskey Festival returns in 2026. Sign up for notifications at https://brewzle.com/festival2026 We are bourbon hunting in Vermont, which operates under a state run liquor system. That means allocated bourbon can hit shelves at MSRP prices, rather than secondary market markups. The tradeoff is that Vermont is a smaller market, which can make some of the highly allocated bottles harder to come by. We ran into plenty of Blanton’s and E.H. Taylor sitting on shelves at great prices, but tracking down the harder to find bottles proved to be more of a challenge. If you enjoy bourbon hunts and seeing how control states really work, make sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more bourbon content.
