Ifor Williams HB506

The HB506 can accommodate two horses up to 16.2hh. This model features a pair of side windows, a large inspection window and a pop up vent which allows more daylight and airflow into the trailer. Centre partitions and breast and breeching bars are fitted as standard. Operating with 4 wheel mechanical brakes, the Ifor Williams float eliminates the need for electric brake controllers but still allows you to carry two large horses safely with an approximate tare of 930kg and a GTM of 2600kg. The HB506 comes standard with a front ramp which can be on the left or right hand side. This creates great flexibility and allows a walk on walk off system. The system greatly benefits young horses, horses that are difficult to handle, races horses or horses with injuries making it difficult for them to back off of a float.
