Strider Longplay - Commodore Amiga [No Commentary | 4K60 | Complete Gameplay]

Strider longplay in its Commodore Amiga version, using filters to emulate the Commodore 1084s monitor. No voice commentary. Using A600 settings with 2mb of RAM within WinUAE. The two names you didn't want to see in your Amiga games destroying your arcade conversions once more. US Gold and Tiertex delivering a piss poor Strider port for the Amiga. With the huge black bar in the bottom of the screen, a smaller one on the top, and a big status bar... The action takes roughly 33% of the screen, and it still manages to run like complete garbage with single digit framerate at times while lacking parallax scrolling. The game feels unresponsive at times because of it. It is also lacking half of the bosses in the final boss rush, the final fight and the ending, the game just loops. Avoid. Score: [⭐➖➖➖➖] Game: Strider Year: 1989 Developer: Capcom Publishers: U.S. Gold Ported By: Tiertex System: Amiga OCS This video is optimized for 4K displays. While natively, on my display the filter/reshade combo looks nice, video compression breaks part of the magic, and it is completely broken by the time Youtube recompresses it. So if your computer can handle it go and set it in 4K, even if you have a 1080p display, you'll benefit from the increased bitrate. I am using the CRT-A2080-PAL filter within WinUAE combined with Reshade to achieve visuals similar to the legendary Commodore 1084s.
