Coticule test and razor honing (for beginners)
I apologize for the quality of the video. I shot it on my iPhone and I am still working out angles and editing. As the title says this is a high level honing video on how to use a Belgian coticule to hone (I.e. sharpen) a straight razor. It is intended as a video for beginners who are new to honing to provide some BASIC background information on honing and using Belgian coticules. I am using a Naniwa Professional (Chosera) 1k stone for bevel set and a vintage 7”x1-5/8” natural combo BBW/Coticule stone and a small slurry stone (la vinniette (sp?) vein)
